Javier Iparraguirre is an engineer, consultant, and educator. In 2005 Fulbirght Commission awarded him with the Master’s Scholarship. In 2007 he received a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science (CS) degree from University of Illinois at Chicago. He received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from Universidad Nacional del Sur. He worked several years in the industry.

At present, he teaches programming to Electrical and Computer Engineering students at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and Universidad Nacional del Sur. He is doing research and development in real-time video processing, many-core processing, and multi-threading programming. Recently, he published a book that summarizes the work done during the last years.
